In Approved Association if a member is an individual rather than a company, they can be marked as such. The system is smart enough that it print such member’s name correctly in directories, reports, mailing labels, etc.

First, GREAT message board, I'm sure we will get much knowledge from each other once it gets going!

My members are individuals however on occassion during conferences Companies will also become contact files.  I am still using a "Contact" database.  Is there something new where I can use the "Company" database instead?....(according to this FAQ)

Congratulations on being my first reply Smile [:)]

The individual/company member situation has not changed.  When you set up the database running in Contact Only (individuals) or Company & Representatives is choice that effects the overall database.  It seems in your situation where a company is registereing for a conference you will need to add atleast one rep from the company as the contact - if you don't have anybody's name then use something general for their first name like "Conference Attendee"
